Nico Park

Writer & Product Designer

App reviewer. Routine optimizer. Not into woo, into what works.

Nico writes for people who want the practice without the perfume. They come from product design, spent two years reviewing wellness apps for a major publication, and now write here on the systems side of manifestation: which routines compound, which ones don't, and how to tell the difference. The AYA Method passed their tests on day three. The review years left them with a fixed protocol and very little sentimentality: every practice gets thirty days, a note file, and the same three questions — did it happen daily, did it get easier or harder by week three, and would they notice if it disappeared. Most things fail the third question. Their essays are built from that graveyard of abandoned routines as much as from the survivors, because the failure patterns turn out to be more instructive: the ritual that demanded a better morning than real mornings, the app that confused streaks with progress, the practice that worked only while it was novel. What the AYA Method passed, specifically, was the friction test — listening requires no willpower surplus, which is why it was still happening in week four when everything else had quietly stopped. Their recurring theme is honest system design: build for your worst Tuesday, not your best Sunday, and measure what would actually change your mind.

Writes about: habit design, wellness apps, manifestation.
